PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element comprising a photoelectric conversion element and a color filter above a substrate and capable of preventing colors from mixing with one another due to obliquely incident light without providing a micro lens at the uppermost part. SOLUTION: In a solid-state imaging element 200, three kinds of pixel parts (201r, 201g, 201b) from which one color signal can be obtained are arranged in the same plane, and each pixel part comprises a lower electrode 215 formed above a substrate 210, an upper electrode 217 formed above the lower electrode 215, a photoelectric conversion element including a photoelectric conversion film 216 sandwiched between the lower electrode 215 and the upper electrode 217, and a color filter 219 formed above the upper electrode 217, and when a distance between the lower face of the photoelectric conversion film 216 and the upper face of the color filter 219 is assumed to be d and the arrangement pitch of the photoelectric conversion element is assumed to be p, d<p holds.
