PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharging member cleaning device of a static eliminator in which a cleaning member such as a brush or the like is used and contact between the cleaning member and the discharging member is prevented when the static eliminator is started. SOLUTION: The discharging member cleaning device of the static eliminator 1 is provided with a cleaning member 3 which moves along a predetermined route and contacts with a discharging member 9 of the static eliminator 1 on the way in the route and an energized retreat means 5 for making the cleaning member 3 retreat in a separated position from the route by an elastic body 11.
