PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety confirmation advice device for providing effective advice about safety confirmation action at every driving position. SOLUTION: The safety confirmation advice device includes a driving position specifying part 11 for specifying a driving position; a line-of-sight measuring part 12 for measuring a driver's line of sight; a map database 13 for storing map information; a line-of-sight distribution calculating part 14 for calculating the distribution of the driver's line of sight in each area on the basis of the driver's line of sight measured, the driving position specified, and the map stored; an ideal line-of-sight distribution deriving part 15 for deriving an ideal distribution of the driver's line of sight in each area at the driving position specified; a line-of-sight distribution determining part 16 for determining the result of comparison between the calculated distribution of the driver's line of sight in each area and the derived ideal distribution of the line of sight in each area; and an advice providing part 17 for providing advice about the distribution of the line of sight to the driver according to the comparison result.
