PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot for a constant-velocity universal joint and the constant-velocity universal joint wherein durability of the boot is improved by effectively restraining fatigue life from being shortened by a swelling deformation in the long boot shoulder when an operating angle is taken in the constant-velocity universal joint, and damages caused in the long boot shoulder by bounced stones. SOLUTION: In the constant-velocity universal joint 5 having a long shoulder 5d, crests 5d1 are formed at least at two positions in the axial direction of the long shoulder 5d, and a troughs 5d2 is formed between the crests 5d1.
