PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor slab installation method using a composite floor slab, which eliminates restrictions on the installation of cargo handling equipment for transporting construction material, and which enhances working efficiency by simplifying installation work and optimizing an installation location. SOLUTION: In the cargo handling equipment for use in the installation of the floor slab using a steel panel 2 constituted by fixing reinforcing members 4 to a bottom steel plate 3 at required intervals, a rail supporting mechanism 8 with a vertically-erected support 21 is placed on the reinforcing member, and fixed to a stud, implanted in the bottom steel plate, via a fixing assisting implement; and a rail 9 is fixed to the support, so that a cargo handling truck device 11 can travel on the rail.
