PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a movable step for a vehicle allowing excellent cleaning work efficiency of a front window in a large vehicle and adapted to improve mounting work efficiency and mounting strength. SOLUTION: This mounting structure is constituted of a base part 4a disposed on a cross member 6 provided to lay each of base brackets 4 for rotatably supporting both right and left end parts of a vehicle width direction of a step 3 over a front end part of a chassis frame 5, front part lower side mounting parts 4b and 4c disposed with a required space in the vehicle width direction to abut on a front face of the cross member 6 by suspending from a front end of the base part 4a, and a rear part upper side mounting part 4d disposed to abut on a front face of a mounting bracket 7 integrated to the cross member 6 by rising upward from a rear end of the base part 4a. The front part lower side mounting parts 4b and 4c and the rear part upper side mounting part 4d are fixed to the cross member 6 from the vehicle front side by a fastening member 8 extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
