PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the corrosion of a process-saving weather resistant steel capable of maintaining anticorrosive property and weatherability for a long time and capable of performing an optional coloring. SOLUTION: An adhesion imparting coating film (A) containing (a) a moisture setting type resin, (b) a rust-proofing pigment, (c) a corrosive ion solidifying agent and (d) a coupling agent is formed with a dry coating amount of 0.03-2.00 kg/m<SP>2</SP>on the surface of the weather resistant steel and a colored top coating film (B) comprising a coating film formed to have≥85% gloss holding ratio after 300 hr irradiation of accelerated weathering test sunshine weather meter is formed with 50-90μm dry film thickness.
