PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual package of a tampon with a bag body capable of easily housing a used applicator. SOLUTION: The individual package of the tampon is provided with a vertically long flat bag body 2 formed of a sheet-like member and the tampon with an applicator individually enclosed in the bag body 2. The bag body 2 has a first surface 22, a second surface 23, a first side bonding part 23 and a second side bonding part 24 for bonding the first surface 21 and the second surface 22 on both sides in the width direction, a bottom part bonding part 26 formed so as to connect the first side bonding part 34 and the second side bonding part 24 at a bottom part 25 which is one end part in the longitudinal direction, and a slack part 28 formed on the first surface 21 and/or the second surface 22 and formed such that a length between the first side bonding part 23 and the second side bonding part 24 on the first surface 21 and/or the second surface 22 is longer than a distance between the first side bonding part 23 and the second side bonding part 24.
