PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame unit in which a panel holding frame can be removed from and attached to a fixing frame by moving the panel holding frame relative to the fixing frame, with the fixing frame left mounted on a wall or the like. SOLUTION: The frame unit includes the fixing frame 2 and the panel holding frame 4 which is removably fixed to the fixing frame 2 through mounting means 3 and which can hold a panel. The mounting means 3 is configured to make the panel holding frame 4 removable from and attachable to the fixing frame 2 by the movement of the panel holding frame 4 relative to the fixing frame 2.
