Disclosed is an apparatus for efficiently producing weak acidic or weak alkaline electrolyzed water on a large scale. Also disclosed are a method for producing electrolyzed water, and electrolyzed water. Specifically disclosed is an apparatus (10) for producing electrolyzed water, which comprises an anode chamber (20) provided with an anode electrode (22), a cathode chamber (30) provided with a cathode electrode (32), an intermediate chamber (40) arranged between the anode chamber (20) and the cathode chamber (30) and containing an aqueous electrolyte solution, an anion-exchange membrane (24) separating the anode chamber (20) and the intermediate chamber (40), and a cation-exchange membrane (34) separating the cathode chamber (30) and the intermediate chamber (40). The anode chamber (20) and the cathode chamber (30) are communicated with each other through a communicating hole (52) provided in a partition wall (50). |
