The synchronizing device has individual drives (M) receiving position or motion signals from an intended value setter (G1) for the rotation angle or rotary motion in the drive gear train. A transmission device, possibly in the form of a fill-in gear wheel (7, 8, 9), is fitted to the rotary body or its shaft from which the rotation angle or rotary motion is taken to avoid play in the teeth or the alternating wear of tooth flanks.
