<p>Disclosed are keratin preparations for use in medical applications. Metho ds of treating wounds are provided, wherein keratin preparations are applied to the wound in a treatment effective amount. Methods of treating burn woun ds are also provided. Surgical or paramedic aids are provided, comprising a substrate with keratin preparations provided thereon. Kits comprising kerati n derivatives packaged in sterile form are also provided.</p> |
