<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an unauthorized use of a content under the management of an end user. <P>SOLUTION: A content use controller is provided with a function to register and check a device or a user to be a receiver of services in providing services so that the services are not used limitlessly by the device or the user other than an authorized receiver of the services and further has a function to limit overwrite of a registered content. By limiting these, copyright protection of information to be provided for the services is performed.
