<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that reduces a manufacturing cost and also prevents a prolongation of a manufacturing period, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device, a transmissive electrode 3 is formed on a glass substrate 1. A base electrode 20 is superposed on an end 44a that is a portion of the transmissive electrode 3 on the glass substrate 1. A reflective electrode 4 is formed on the base electrode 20 so as to come into contact with each other. A reflective electrode 4 has substantially the same planar shape as that of the base electrode 20. A terminal electrode is formed on the glass substrate 1, and is composed of the same layer as the transmissive electrode 3. A base wiring 41 is superposed on a portion (end 44b) of the terminal electrode 5 on the glass substrate 1, and also is composed of the same layer as the base electrode 20. An upper layer wiring 42 is formed on the base wiring 41. An upper layer wiring 20 is composed of the same layer as the reflective electrode 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
