PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer pellet transporting method using a simple means for pneumatically transporting hydroscopic polymer pellets without increasing the water content of the polymer pellets, and to provide a polymer pellet storing method. SOLUTION: The polymer pellet pneumatically transporting method is provided for pneumatically transporting the polymer pellets via a transport pipe together with a pressure gas stream. It comprises a gas dehumidifying step of reducing the amount of moisture in gas used for pneumatically transporting the polymer pellets to adjust the dew point of the gas down to 0°C or lower, a gas compressing step of compressing the gas whose dew point is adjusted down to 0°C or lower in the gas dehumidifying step, a pressure gas supply step for supplying the pressure gas compressed in the gas compressing step into the transport pipe at 50-600 Nm<SP>3</SP>/time per ton of the polymer pellets, and a transporting step of pneumatically transporting the polymer pellets via the transport pipe together with the pressure gas stream supplied into the transport pipe in the pressure gas supply step.
