PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separate type cellular phone capable of easily selectively using a longitudinal/lateral display screen by separating a cover module and a main body module. SOLUTION: The separate type cellular phone in which a cover module and a main body module can be separated through a hinge with an external input/output terminal, adopts a structure where a plurality of display screens are disposed at the cover module and the main body module and further a battery is connected to a hinge with a connecting terminal of the cover module, a structure where the cover module is bisected into a top screen side and a main screen side and a turning mechanism and a stopper mechanism are incorporated at either the top screen side or the main screen side, and an external attachment unit structure where a power supply function and a display function of the cellular phone are shared.
