PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a harness connecting member which can be manufactured at low cost with a mold and die structure simplified through a structure of dividing a holding body. SOLUTION: The harness connecting member is structured of divided-in-half retainers 1, 1' consisting of a pin insertion hole 1a, a long groove 1b, and a terminal insertion hole 8c, a plurality of electric terminals 2 each equipped with a connecting part 2a inserted into the terminal insertion hole 1c, and a crimping part 2b connecting core wires of the electric wire 3, a pin terminal 4 for connecting the electric terminals 2, and a cover member 5 fitted around the retainers 1, 1'. The retainers 1, 1' consist of members divided into halves of the same shape along a length direction, both of which can be integrated. The retainers 1, 1' have the pin-insertion holes 1a each penetrating their center shafts for inserting a pin terminal 4, the long grooves 1b of a cross section nearly semispherical for fitting the electric wire 3 along a length direction on their surfaces, and the terminal insertion hole 1c in each long groove 1b for inserting the electric terminal 2.
