DRIVING DEVICE OF DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a display panel capable of preventing the flow-in of a large current, and to provide a display device mounting the driving device. SOLUTION: The driving device of the display panel is provided with a predriver for driving one of a pair of switching elements of a final stage in a driver generating various drive pulses to emit and drive the display panel. The predriver includes: a capacitor for applying low potential on one terminal; the switching element for short-circuiting between both the terminals of the capacitor in an on state; the switching element for being set in one state of the on state and an off state in response to potential on the switching element and a drive control line for transmitting drive signals having the low potential in the on state to the switching element through the drive control line; the switching element for being set in one state of the on state and the off state in response to the potential of the other terminal of the capacitor; and a resistor for connecting the drive control line and a display line.
