PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member absorbing a large amount of impact energy with a small volume. SOLUTION: Hollow members 220 made of a light alloy have cylindrical structure. The hollow members 220 are arranged so that their extruding directions are parallel with each other, and the hollow members 220 are connected by welding at corner parts of the cylindrical structures. In the cylindrical structure, the direction regarded to be the collision direction is agreed with the extruding direction. The cylindrical structure has a division plate on its center in the longitudinal direction. That is, the division plate is used as a partition of the cylindrical structure. When an impact load is applied, the hollow members 220 are deformed not into V-shapes but are continuously deformed in bellows, as the longitudinal direction of the hollow member 220 is partitioned by the division plate 210, and the hollow member 220 has high rigidity in every direction, whereby a large amount of impact energy is absorbed.
