PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of preventing a person seated in a rear seat from carelessly perform the forward-collapsing operation of a seatback of a front seat while the person is seated in the front seat. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat has a back side operation lever 22 which is operated from a back side of a seatback 12 to unlock a locking mechanism 132 and change the posture of the seatback 12 set in an upright posture S1 toward a tilted posture S2 by the urging force of a torsion spring 134, and a back side posture changing means (a two-stage operation means) 20 for operating the back side operation lever 22 in two-stage operations when changing the seatback 12 from the upright posture S1 to the tilted posture S2.
