PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gypsum mold for simply and precisely molding a hole in a molding of ceramics, and a molding method of ceramics or pottery using it. SOLUTION: The gypsum mold having cavities, in which a core material to be bored is installed, provided to its opposed parts is used. The core material is installed in a cavity of the gypsum mold while a body is installed around the core material and the other gypsum mold is pressed to mold the body while discharging the excess body. Thereafter, the core material is drawn out to open the hole. This molding method is simple in operation and the precise hole can be opened. The hole can be changed in size along its axis and the hole having a conical shape or a star shape other than a circular shape can be opened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
