PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifuge capable of efficiently performing a replacement work of a sample before and after separation by shortening a suspension time after the completion of a centrifugal operation to the following start of the centrifugal operation. SOLUTION: The centrifuge includes: a rotor 2 for accommodating the sample; a motor 3 for rotary driving the rotor 2; an operation panel 4 at least equipped with an input part capable of setting conditions for the centrifugal action, and a display device; a control device 5 for performing rotary control of the motor 3 and preliminarily stored with a plurality of intermittent buzzers or melodies; and a notification means 6 for emitting sound selected by the operation panel 4, wherein the predetermined intermittent buzzer or melody is emitted after the predetermined elapsed time before the completion of the centrifugal action.
