PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel formation chip capable of easily installing a detection medium in a channel even when the channel is fine, and capable of detecting various detection objects. SOLUTION: The channel formation chip 1 includes a membrane electrode 14 and a photosensitive resin layer 12 sequentially laminated on a glass substrate 11. A recessed part 2 capable of housing a sample solution is formed by partially eliminating the photosensitive resin layer 12. The recessed part 2 includes a sample charging tank 21, a waste liquid tank 22, and a channel 23. A detection part 24 is provided in the middle of the channel 23. Silica beads 25 are fixed on the detection part 24 by charging the silica beads 25 as the detection medium in the sample charging tank 21 before charging the sample solution. At that time, the detection part 24 has a shape for receiving the silica beads 25 on a downstream side and restraining. Thus, the respective silica beads 25 can be installed in the channel 23 without fixing on the detection part 24 purposely. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
