PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal joint structure effectively preventing joint fracture from happening even if external force is exerted on terminal fittings brazed to a metal layer which is an external terminal of a liquid state detection element. SOLUTION: This liquid state detection element fitted with terminal fittings comprises: a liquid state detection element 110 equipped with a heating resistance element 117 with its resistance value changing according to its own temperature within an insulated substrate while equipped with an external terminal 114 connected to the resistance element 117 on one principal surface 111c of the insulated substrate; and the terminal fittings 201 brazed to the external terminal 114 via an element-side joint part 203a. Aside from a first metal layer 114 which is the external terminal, the element 110 is equipped with a second metal layer 124 on a principal surface 112c on the opposite side thereof. The terminal fittings 201 each comprise a joint part 203b for the second metal layer in addition to the element-side joint part 203a, with the joint part 203a brazed to the metal layer 124.
