PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas tap whose size can be reduced without reducing the flow rate of gas. SOLUTION: An inlet hole 12 and an outlet hole 13 formed in a tap body 1, and a gas hole 21 formed in a valve body 2 are arranged so as to be concentric when the valve body 2 is turned to an opened position. A diameter reducing bore portion 12a having a tapered portion reducing its diameter toward the downstream side is formed at the upstream side end portion of the gas inlet hole 12. The minimum inside diameter of the diameter reducing bore portion 12a, which is the inside diameter of the diameter reducing bore portion 12a in the inner circumferential surface of a valve receiving hole 11, is set to be the same as the inside diameter of the gas hole 21.
