PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for reducing the manufacturing cost of a linear guide device. SOLUTION: This linear guide device 1 includes: a rail 2 having a rail raceway groove 4; a slider 5 having a return passage 9 and a slider raceway groove 7 opposed to the rail raceway groove 4; a load passage 12 formed by the rail raceway groove 4 and slider raceway groove 7; an end cap 11 arranged at each of front and rear ends of the slider 5 and having a direction changeover passage 13; and a ball 8 circulating in a circulation passage 18 with the load passage 12 connected through the direction changeover passage 13 and return passage 9.
