MOTORCYCLE HAVING COMBUSTION DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining whether the spark generating circuit of a vehicle is in an intermittent connection state. SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of: preparing a vehicle having a frame, an engine which has a cylinder with a combustion chamber and piston reciprocating in the cylinder and is mounted on the frame, and a spark generating circuit which has a spark plug with a spark plug gap exposed to the first combustion chamber and is installed in the frame; generating a spark in the combustion chamber by the spark plug; providing an ion signal indicating an ion current generated across the spark plug gap; and determining whether the spark generating circuit is in an intermittent connected state or not by analyzing the ion signal.
