<p>Subdivision of >=1 thermoplastic extrusions into pieces by passing it approx. tangentially between a pair of rotating drums, each of which has peripheral teeth coming into sliding contact with those on the other drum, each tooth having a radial engaging surface and a non-radial, non-engaging surface enclosing an angle of 10-45 degrees, and the former having a discharge or unloading angle of 0-30 degrees, so arranged that the radial surface of one tooth is directly adjacent to the non-radial surface of the next adjacent tooth.</p> |
