<p>A lubricating oil composition for refrigerators which contains (A) a base oil comprising as the main component a polyol ester prepared from both a polyhydric alcohol selected from among pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane and neopentyl glycol and an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, (B) a phosphorus-containing additive consisting of a phosphoric triester and/or a phosphorous triester, and (C) at least one acid scavenger selected from among glycidyl esters, glycidyl ethers and a-olefin oxides. The lubricating oil composition is applicable to refrigerators with refrigerants having specific structures such as unsaturated fluorinated hydrocarbons usable as refrigerant in current car air conditioner systems and is excellent in the compatibility with the refrigerants and sealing properties. Further, the lubricating oil composition attains a low coefficient of friction in the sliding part and is excellent in stability.</p> |
