PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetically shielded cable capable of obtaining high electromagnetic shielding effect. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic shielding layer 13 is manufactured so that density of braiding as a whole which covers and occupies the surface of a cable core 12 becomes 95% or more in the circumference direction A of the cable core 12, and the density of an only braided portion formed by a bundle 16 of soft magnetic metal strands becomes 90% or more in the circumference direction A of the cable core 12. The electromagnetic shielding layer 13 is manufactured so that only a portion for a prescribed number of braiding elements among the number of braiding elements expressed by the number of picks in the circumference direction A are formed with the bundles 15 of conductive metal strands, and a portion for the remaining number of braiding elements are formed with the bundles 16 of the soft magnetic metal strands.
