<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus which corrects a color shift while reducing an amount of consumed toner. <P>SOLUTION: The color image-forming apparatus is provided with; a generation means (S601) which generates position-detecting patches for correcting color shifts formed on an intermediate transfer body; a detection means (S602) which detects the position-detecting patches; a determination means (S603) which determines whether the densities of the position-detecting patches thus detected are in an adequate range; and adjustment means (S604 and S607) which adjust the densities of the position-detecting patches thus detected according to the results of the determination by the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
