PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device making a power supply electric wire hole position clear to attain reliable distribution of a power supply electric wire and improving close contact property between a wall surface or a ceiling surface and a body. SOLUTION: The ventilating device has a ventilating fan body 12 provided with a cylindrical part 5 with a fan motor 4 provided inside and shaped to be mounted to an air channel pipe 3 provided at a wall part or the ceiling 1 to serve for communication between indoors 2 and outdoors, a flange part 7 formed in approximately square shape to radially project from the outer periphery of an indoor side opening 6 of the cylindrical part 5, and a power supply connection part 10 electrically connected to the fan motor 4 and shaped to be stored in a recess 9 formed by providing a rising part 8 on the back face side around the flange part 7, wherein the whole recess 9 is covered with an electric equipment cover 11 provided with a cutout part 15 for the power supply electric wire.
