摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable plant operation control by continuously monitoring the approximate whole area in an ash melting furnace and the approximate whole area in a garbage incinerator by a furnace monitoring device applying both of an omnidirectional mirror and a long wavelength-type infrared ray camera, and optimizing the electric power supplied to the ash melting furnace, the ash supply amount, the waste supply amount to the waste incinerator and the amount of combustion air to a stoker on the basis of a result of monitoring. SOLUTION: In a plant comprising the ash melting furnace 1 for melting the ash charged into the furnace by electric energy, a range of molten metal and temperature distribution in the ash melting furnace 1 is grasped by continuously monitoring the approximate whole area in the ash melting furnace 1 by the furnace monitoring device 2 applying both of the omnidirectional mirror 2' and the long wavelength type infrared ray camera 2", and the electric power supplied to the ash melting furnace 1 and the ash supply amount are optimized by a control device 3 on the basis of the result of monitoring.
