PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing simultaneously and inexpensively achieving reduced torque, grease leakage resistance, dust resistance, and space saving. SOLUTION: A projection 17 is formed on the inner surface of a seal lip. When the seal lip 12 is pushed to the inside due to a pressure difference, the projection 17 is brought into contact with the inner surface 16 of a seal groove 9 to thereby partially elastically deforming the seal lip 12 to form an air passage. The inner surface of each pocket of a retainer 4 is formed into a recessed curved surface with an inner diameter portion formed smaller than a ball arrangement pitch circle according as it approaches an opening edge on the side of the inner diameter of the retainer, and a recessed portion extending from the opening edge on the side of the inner diameter of the retainer to the side of the outer diameter of the retainer is formed in the inner surface of each pocket.
