PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer of a power source, and the power source with the fuel reformer, capable of improving a combustion characteristic. SOLUTION: This fuel reformer of the power source operates by generating heat. The fuel reformer of the power source has a gas-liquid separator 10 separating fuel into gaseous phase fuel and liquid phase fuel, and a molecular weight-increasing catalyst device 20 arranged on the downstream side of the gas-liquid separator and having a molecular weight-increasing catalyst for increasing molecular weight of the gaseous phase fuel. The power source with the fuel reformer has the power source operating by generating the heat and the fuel reformer. In the power source with the fuel reformer, the fuel reformer has the gas-liquid separator 10 separating the fuel into the gaseous phase fuel and the liquid phase fuel, and the molecular weight increasing catalyst device 20 arranged on the downstream side of the gas-liquid separator and having the molecular weight-increasing catalyst 22 for increasing the molecular weight of the gaseous phase fuel.
