PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a retrofit-type snow guard body becomes conspicuous and that it has no uniform feeling and it provides a sense of incongruity because the retrofit-type snow guard body is made of a different material from that of a tile body made of ceramics. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left through-holes 6, 6a of the snow guard tile are formed in the tile body 1 made of pottery, and both of the lower end surfaces 3, 3a of the arched snow guard body 2 made of ceramics are formed so that they are brought into agreement with the contact surface of the tile body 1. Then soft seal materials 4, 4a are fixed and provided. Bolt insertion holes 5, 5a which are opened on both of the lower end surfaces 3, 3a are formed on both sides of the snow guard body 2. Then nuts 10, 10a are screwed to, engaged with and fastened to the lower ends of the bolts 7, 7a which penetrate the bolt insertion holes 5, 5a and the through-holes 6, 6a. Thus, even though the snow guard body 2 is a retrofit type, it does not become conspicuous. Furthermore, the snow guard body 2 has uniform feeling and provides a sense of congruity.
