PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a lens barrel and, at the same time, facilitate assembly and disassembly even in the case of the size reduction. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a cylindrical member disposed so as to be rotatable around an optical axis; a positioning member for positioning the cylindrical member in the direction of the optical axis; and a fixed cylindrical member where the positioning member is fixed. The cylindrical member has: a bottomed groove where the positioning member is fitted in the inner circumferential part of the cylindrical member in the direction of the optical axis; a spot facing part formed in the outer circumferential part of the cylindrical member across the bottomed groove; and at least one opening formed between the bottomed groove and it by the spot facing part.
