PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope objective lens in which eccentricity of an optical axis, caused by a spring cushioning function, is prevented. SOLUTION: The microscope objective lens includes: an inner cylinder having an optical system therein; a lens barrel in which the inner cylinder is fitted so as to be slidable along the optical axis; a long groove formed in the side face of the lens barrel and along the optical axis so as to extend through the lens barrel; a first screw fixed in the inner cylinder, fitted in and moved along the long groove; and the cushioning mechanism that functions by applying pressure to the first screw by a flexible member.
