<p>The alloy contains 0.05-0.5% pref. 0.25-0.45% Zr, 2-6% pref. 2.5-3.5% Ag, 94-98% Cu. The chamber, of which the outer walls are provided with cooling channels, is produced by forging the vacuum-melted alloy ingot. The forging is solution treated for 1.5-3 h at 1600-1700 degrees (870-927 degrees C), quenched to room temp. and aged for 2-6 h at 850-950 degrees F (454-510 degrees C).</p> |
