The battery pole measuring clamp (2) has a battery pole clamp (4) and a measuring resistance (6) connects with its connection element (5) with a battery pole clamp in firmly bonded manner. A battery connecting cable (8) connects at another connection element (7) of the measuring resistance. A protective element (10) extending over the surface of the measuring resistance and is spaced from the measuring resistance. The protective element is friction-locked at an insulation of the battery connecting cable. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a battery pole measuring clamp.
