The handle (1) has a handling unit (2), and a control unit with an operating control (5), such as a knob or push button, for controlling a roller shutter, where the handle is operable by the control unit. Microprocessor of the control unit is enabled by another operating control (7) at the handle in a training phase. The control unit includes a radio or optical transmitter for controlling the roller shutter in a wireless manner. A battery compartment is arranged in the handling unit and is openable by a cover (6). An independent claim is also included for a window unit with a foldable and/or swivellable window comprising a handle.
