COLD PUNCHED RETAINER

A cold punched retainer envisaged increase of rollers in number and in their diameter, in which the roller is kept from falling away from a pocket in the retainer by means of a stopper on a flange in combination with a pillar, without drawing upon a recess on a circular end of the roller. The retainer punched is easier in dimensioning of an inside circular periphery of the pocket and in evenness on sides of the flange. The stopper (5) is made out of a bent end of the flange (4) lying between adjacent pockets (3, 3). The stoppers (5, 5) corresponding in location to the pillars (2, 2) across the pocket (3) is bent by plastic working to interfere with an outside circular surface of the roller (1) by a gap (g). The stoppers (5, 5) are resiliently distorted to get pushed away from each other by squeezing the roller (1) into the pocket (3) obliquely from the side of any one of the pillars (2, 2) and also from the side of the flange (4), so that the roller (1) eventually fits into the pocket (3).
