A bill rearranging device for preparing a bunch of paper currency of which tape is not loosen is provided to obtain miniaturization. At a bill binding unit of a bill rearranging device including plural integrated sections 6a~6b for accumulating the bill and a bill bundling unit for discharging a bunch of bill with a unit of T which is banded by a tape, a sending means returning the bunch of bill to the short direction(40); a return guide in which it has the shift installed at the downstream of the sending direction C of the unity position(48) which is set up in the sending means; and a pass confirmation sensor(47) confirming the pass of the bunch of bill T which is united in the unity position and returns the return guide are set. The quality of the binding state of the bunch of bill T, based on the passing time of the bunch T of bill measured with the pass confirmation sensor is detected.
