A laser distance measuring system can reduce a measurement error due to the delay time of equipment by comparing a laser signal transmitted to the target and a laser signal reflected from the target. A laser distance measuring system comprises a laser output device(100), a digital demodulator(200), a display device(300), and a control device(400). The digital demodulator includes a frequency mixer(210) which sets a pattern of the duty ratio of high and low signal with respect to transmitted and received laser signals of the laser output device and converts the transmitted and received laser signals into lower frequency, and a phase comparator(220) which calculates a phase difference proportional to the measurement distance by using a counter clock and a distance measurement control signal which are input from the control device and the laser signals converted with the frequency mixer.
