PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-blast circuit breaker for determining an abnormal voltage after confirming a battery capacity and voltage by use of a battery capacity estimating means when detecting a battery voltage drop. SOLUTION: The gas-blast circuit breaker includes: a voltage detection means 10 for monitoring a supply voltage of a battery power source means 2; a battery capacity estimating means 11 for presumptively calculating a battery consumption on the basis of driving frequencies of a breaking means 3 and time elapsed from a power supply start; an abnormal voltage detection means 12 for driving the voltage detection means 10 again to reconfirm the voltage of the battery power source means 2 when the consumption presumed by the battery capacity estimating means 11 is within a predetermined value and the voltage detection means outputs a signal at a predetermined voltage or lower, while preventing a signal for voltage drop in normal voltage detection from being output; a time measuring means 13 for driving the voltage detection means 10 again to confirm the battery voltage and starting to measure predetermined time when the abnormal voltage detection means 12 detects a voltage drop state; a restoration means 14 for outputting a signal for restoring the breaking means 3 into a gas supply state; and a restoration prohibiting means 15 for prohibiting an input of a restoration signal when the time measuring means measures predetermined elapsed time.
