PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device, capable of surely recognizing a stop line, even if the stop line cannot be recognized by an onboard camera, to stop a vehicle at that position. SOLUTION: The vehicle control device wirelessly acquires external information containing information of a temporary stop position where the vehicle should be temporarily stopped from the outside of the vehicle, and forms and outputs temporary stop support information for making a driver temporarily stop the vehicle a temporary stop position specified based on the external information.
