FASTENING STRUCTURE OF MAGNESIUM ALLOY MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening structure of a magnesium alloy member preventing electric corrosion from occurring by low cost and increasing fastening axial force. SOLUTION: This fastening structure of a magnesium alloy member comprises: a magnesium alloy member and bolts for fixing the magnesium alloy member to a base. The surface of a magnesium alloy plate or an aluminum alloy plate is anodized. The fastening structure uses a washer formed by pressing or cutting. The area of the magnesium alloy member around the bolt fastening part is recessed by compression and work-hardened. The magnesium alloy washer or an aluminum alloy washer is fixed to the work-hardened recessed part of the magnesium alloy member.
