METHOD FOR INPUTTING AND SEARCHING INFORMATION ABOUT AN OBJECT IN A REMOTE DATABASE

The inventive method consists in transmitting the object identifier-conta ining message from a mobile telecommunications terminal to a server by means of the network of a global mobile communication system via a cellular commu nication operator or by means of the Internet network. At least one word is used in the form of the object identifier-containing message transmitted fro m the mobile telecommunications terminal. The search of the object identifie r in the server database consists in comparing the word with domain names by said server. While the user of the mobile telecommunications terminal deter mines the domain name, the server transmits the telephone number of a subscr iber thereto. The mobile telecommunications terminal initiates communication for said telephone number by providing a voice connection with the telephon e number of the subscriber. The method makes it possible to extend functiona l capabilities, to accelerate search, to reduce the amount of transmissible information and to reduce the loading of the telecommunications network and facilities thereof.
