The present invention provides a novel heterocyclic compound containing a beta-amino group, a method for preparing the same, and a pharmaceutical com position comprising the same heterocyclic compound or a pharmaceutically acc eptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The heterocyclic compound of t he present invention exhibits excellent DPP-IV inhibitory activity and bioav ailability and therefore can be useful for the prophylaxis or treatment of D PP-IV-related diseases such as diabetes or obesity.
