A method and a system for guiding traffic information are provided to provide accurate traffic information by estimating a future traffic state using statistical and simulation algorithms. A traffic information guiding system includes a traffic information collector(100), a traffic information processor(200), and a traffic information provider(300). The traffic information collector generates first current traffic information. The traffic information processor applies a statistical algorithm on the first traffic information to generate second statistically estimated traffic information. The traffic information processor simulates a traffic state based on a virtual traffic state to generate third traffic information. A traffic information provider processes one of the first to third traffic information to generate the traffic information to be provided. |
